About Our Farm

Owner Dave Miles and his son-in-law Gabe Spurgeon both have a passion for tree fruit and agriculture, despite both having education and career backgrounds in engineering. Dave grew up on a dairy farm in northeast Kansas, and Gabe grew up in southwest Missouri working many summers in a peach orchard. Both came back to agriculture to pursue the dream of large scale tree fruit with modern growing techniques. 

 

History of tree fruit on the property goes back as long as anybody can remember. When Dave purchased the property circa 2000, dozens of apple trees were well established. The Miles family maintained a half-acre orchard, until the planting of the commercial orchard you see today started in 2015.
